about

This came out of my Dad's old guitar that I tore the frets off.

lyrics

Drops of gold were just ideas 'till you put them, at dawn, in your mouth and you spoke of a love few ever knew.

At a time when my voice was afraid to place words in this silence we'd laid
As we withdrew

The dropping cold gave a silver hue to the words escaping from our song As it broke uncontrolled

What have we sung? Is it to all, just ourselves or no-one?

The wings of coal had a birds-eye view of the thoughts escaping from your mind. They got away just in time.

What have we sung? Is it to all, just ourselves or no-one?

The leaves on the trees, as mute as me even on a good day. But when there's a breeze they hiss and whistle clearer than I'll ever play.

The shorelines fold, after fold, after fold, after fold, the freezing water on itself 'till it foams at the mouth.

What have we sung? Is it to all, just ourselves or no-one?
